“It Was” SOLD

 Her pale face, illuminated as if by invisible light, reveals an expression of emotional exhaustion or perhaps bewilderment. Her eyes, a disturbing spiral of distorted geometry, draw us into the abyss of her emotional turmoil, spinning chaotically, suggesting the emotional storm in which she is trapped.  The texture of the painting is multi-layered, with thick, expressive strokes. The interplay of crimson, red, and bronze creates an atmosphere of raw intensity, reinforcing the theme of sensitivity and inner conflict. A faint glow, almost imperceptible, curves and emanates around her figure, like a halo that seems to both emerge and dissolve into the chaos.
