Kurs jednodniowy Art Clay

This will not be an ordinary course.

It will be an encounter with a material that remembers fire.

During these workshops, you will enter the world of Art Clay silver, soft as clay and, after firing, as strong as your intention. You will learn the basic techniques of creating silver jewelry, but above all, you will learn to listen to the material.

During 8 hours of working together, you will complete three original projects, learning three basic forms of working with AC: block, syringe, and paste. Each has a different temperament, different energy, and different possibilities. You will learn to understand and use them consciously.

I will show you how to work with AC block, how to shape, cut, smooth, and give it character. You will see how zirconia is set and how light is captured in silver. You will learn the technique of creating rings.

The program also includes:

– creating textures and giving surfaces their own rhythm,

– techniques for shaping material using molds, presses, stamps, and templates,

– making silicone molds,

– sculpting in dry material, 

– techniques for firing and finishing Art Clay silver: oxidizing, polishing.

The workshops are primarily practical in nature, allowing you to create from the very beginning.

Course duration: 8 hours in individual mode or for a group of up to 3 people.

Material: 15 g of Art Clay clay

Silver clay has a lightness that allows you to experiment... it is a material similar to plasticine that contains purified recycled silver powder together with a binding agent in the form of paper pulp with water. Art Clay can be kneaded, modeled, rolled, smoothed, and sculpted. It offers enormous creative possibilities for creation and surprises me every time. Every movement of the hand opens up a new path, a new shape, a new decision. The finished project is dried so that the water evaporates completely. Once the clay is dry, it can be drilled, cut, sculpted, and sanded. Time to fire it up! After firing, we obtain pure 999 silver. Once the material is fired, all metalworking techniques become available: drilling, grinding, polishing, soldering.

Between concentration and fingers dirty from the material, self-development emerges. Quiet, unobtrusive. You learn to trust yourself, your own choices, and the fact that form is born in the process. This is not just a course, it is a moment of pause in which you create something from matter... and a little bit from yourself.

All the tools and materials are already waiting in the studio. You don't need to bring anything, complete anything, or know anything in advance. All you need to do is come with curiosity and an open mind.
